A policy is not a procedure. A procedure says how something is done; a policy says what the property’s position is and who decides. Most spa policies fail by being one or the other badly. These include the ones nobody else writes, because they are the ones a spa most needs: chaperoning and intimate treatments, under-eighteens, pregnancy, photography in a building where people are undressed. Disciplinary and grievance procedures are deliberately not included: take those from an employment adviser rather than from a template.
